ROCKVILLE, MD (10/16/2020) – Clear Impact, along with key sponsors PolicyLink and Living Cities, are excited to announce the inaugural Measurable Equity 2020 – a virtual conference to advance racial equity and justice. The conference will interactively explore perspectives on race, racism, and racial and ethnic disparities, with the goal of improving outcomes for communities most affected by these issues. The event will take place on November 13th and 17th, 2020. Interested individuals can learn more and register at https://measurableequity.com.

Clear Impact is also calling on public sector leaders to keep the conference momentum going through sustained action. To achieve this goal, Measurable Equity 2020 will be a launching pad for the free Measurable Equity One Year Challenge. Each month, Clear Impact will send a prompt designed to help organizations achieve measurable, equitable results for their communities. For example, participants will create a plan to address an element of racial equity in their community, based on local data. As part of the challenge, Clear Impact will provide a free Community Racial Equity Scorecard. The data is pulled directly from the National Equity Atlas and will provide data sets for 300 geographies including 100 cities, 150 regions and all 50 states.

Dr. Michael McAfee, President and CEO of PolicyLink, will provide a keynote address at this year’s conference. When asked about his hopes for the event, he stated, “In an age where more than 100 million people in America are economically insecure, this moment cries out for us to usher in the creation of a just and fair society for all. I’m excited to participate in this event because I know we will gain real-world tools and solutions for realizing the promise of equity.”

Measurable Equity 2020 will bring together global racial equity practitioners, Results-Based Accountability experts, and public sector leaders to share critical skills and knowledge. Participants will garner insights that are both profound and practical for understanding and choosing the roles we play when it comes to equity in America and around the world, local communities, and organizations. The conference is intended to provide a customizable experience and will offer three learning tracks: public health, children and families, and economic mobility.

Adam Luecking, CEO of Clear Impact, shares, “We are thrilled, at this pivotal moment in time, to be hosting this conference. By galvanizing leaders across the country to focus on measurable improvements in racial equity with practical tools, we are confident significant strides can be made for the quality of life for children, families and communities.”

The cost to attend both the conference and post-conference workshops will be $185 USD. In an effort to increase access, BIPOC-led (black, indigenous, and people of color) organizations are invited to register with the code BIPOC20 for 20% off. There is also a group discount of Buy-4-Get-1-Free, which is automatically applied at checkout when 5 tickets are selected.
