The Economic Success session scheduled for November 9th at 3:30 PM (Start Local: A Better Way to Build Jobs While Addressing Racial and Economic Disparities) has unfortunately been canceled. Please follow us on Twitter @ClearImpactLLC so you can stay up to date on any schedule changes. We may be replacing the session. However, because we are so close to the event, it is likely that there will be no session replacement. Please feel free to attend any of the other sessions scheduled during that time.

Registrant FAQ

Things you should do to prepare:

  1. Make sure you get conference updates:

Follow @ClearImpactLLC on Twitter and turn on mobile notifications to get updates as soon as they happen (agenda changes, room changes, and other updates). Also, follow @ClearImpactLLC on Facebook. You can send us a direct message on either of these platforms if you cannot locate a Clear Impact staff member to answer your question.

  2. Make sure the check-in process goes smoothly. Sometimes technology is imperfect…don’t stress!

There are some things you can do to help check-in go smoothly. If you find your nametag on the table, you’re good to go! If not……1) If you registered online, bring your confirmation email to show us on your phone. 2) If your employer paid for your registration, check to see which name they registered you under. They may not have provided your name! 3) If you or your employer paid via invoice, be sure to tell us that at check-in. 3) If you never got a confirmation email, you can show us the registrant FAQ email you received on Monday, November 6th as proof of registration (look for the email from “Clear Impact”). We will be checking our records to ensure your registration was paid. We print our nametags a few days before the conference, so there may be a chance you won’t get one. If that happens, we’ll give you a blank nametag and you can fill in your name.

  3. Bring a jacket or sweater!

We won’t be able to control the temperature of the venue, so make sure you wear layers if the air conditioning will bother you.

  4. Book your hotel!

Make sure you book your hotel if you’re arriving from out of town! Unfortunately, we do not have a discount code for hotels this year, but you can find hotel pricing information here: https://www.tripadvisor.com/Hotels-g60956-San_Antonio_Texas-Hotels.html

  5. Bring your business cards!

There won’t be a list of participants provided after the conference, so bring your business cards to stay connected with other guests after the event.

  6. Familiarize yourself with the online agenda.

You will receive a conference program when you arrive, but you should check the website for any last-minute alterations. Look at the session descriptions ahead of time, as full descriptions will not be included in the program. Only the session titles and a short session summary will be included in the program. You can review the conference agenda here.

What to do when you arrive:

  1. Look for the check-in table:

Look for the table with Clear Impact staff to check in, pick up your nametag, get your program, and get other swag. Just give us your name and we will help you locate your nametag. If you registered another guest under your name and didn’t provide your guest’s information during the registration process, tell them to give us your name so we can check them in. We print our nametags a few days before the event, so if you register later, you may not get a nametag. Sorry about that. We will give you a blank nametag and you can fill in your name!

  2. Get your free travel mug!

Make sure to stop by the Clear Impact booth to learn about Results-Based Accountability consulting, virtual training, and workshops, as well as the Clear Impact Scorecard. We’re also giving away free travel mugs and other swag.

  3. Participate in the discussion.

Make the most of your conference experience by getting involved in the discussion on social media. In addition to following Clear Impact, you should also join the RBA Facebook group at https://www.facebook.com/groups/RBAOBA/. Here, you can ask all kinds of questions related to RBA and engage other practitioners. In all your social media posts, you should include the hashtag #MeasurableImpact2017. This will make it easier for others to find your posts and share them.

What to do after you leave:

  1. Stay connected.

There are several benefits to joining the Clear Impact newsletter list. You will stay up-to-date on all future events, receive free content downloads, and be the first to know about sales and deals. You can add your email address below.

  2. Fill out the post-conference survey.

We greatly benefit from your feedback. You can help us improve the quality of future events by filling out the post-conference survey. We will send it to the email address you used when you registered.

Other FAQ:

  1. What are the “Session Tracks” and am I only permitted to attend sessions in the same track?

This year’s conference offers different session tracks designed to fit the needs and interests associated with different industries. The tracks include Early Education, Children and Families, Health, Economic Security, and United Ways. Each track will offer 4 different sessions occurring at different times. In the conference agenda, you will see the name of the track before each session title to help you locate sessions easily. You are not obligated to attend sessions in only one track! Feel free to follow one track or mix and match throughout the event.

  2. Will the presentation materials be made available after the conference?

Yes. We will add all presentation slides on the conference website, after the event, as long as the speaker provides us with the materials. We will email you when they’re added.

  3. What do I need to know about the Reception on Day 2?

After day 2 of the conference (November 9th), Clear Impact is hosting a reception with live Mariachi music. The event is happening from 6:00 – 7:30 pm and is located at the Hyatt at 123 Losoya Street, which overlooks the Alamo. This is about a 15-minute walk from the conference venue. You should dress business-casual. Conference guests will receive 2 drink tickets, after which a cash bar will be available. Appetizers will also be available. This event is for conference registrants only.

  4. What should I do in my free time?

If you need advice on what to do during your free time, check out San Antonio’s Trip advisor page here. Or, you can check out San Antonio’s tourism website here. Look for our Impact consultant Marcos Marquez for a local’s perspective on what to do!

  5. Will there be food available for people with allergies, dietary restrictions, and other sensitivities?

Yes. There will be vegetarian, gluten-free, and lactose-free options. All food at the event will be labeled.

  6. I have questions about the venue (parking, etc.)!

You can find answers about the venue at the Henry B. Gonzalez Convention center website here.

  7. What if I can’t attend last-minute?

Refunds are not available after October 30th, 2017.  However, you can transfer your ticket to another attendee. Please contact Eileen@clearimpact.com to transfer your ticket to someone else.

  8. I have other questions not answered on this page.

That’s fine! Just email our Director of Operations, Eileen Finn, at eileen@clearimpact.com and she can help you out.
