Capturing Results for Donors: United Way’s Global Results Framework

United Way is a global network, focused on advancing the common good in education, income and health in order to improve lives and strengthen communities. Demonstrating our impact to global partners and donors requires a common approach to measuring and reporting results. The Global Results Framework was developed to help the United Way network tell a story of impact that conveys our collective ability to mobilize resources to address society’s biggest challenges: to activate people, organizations and institutions to bring about change; and to deliver results at scale within and across communities. In 2017 United Way began collecting and aggregating common data across our network. We invite participants to learn more about our approach, including: an overview of the framework, a snapshot of impact data collected this year, and lessons learned from our initial year of data gathering.
