Christina M. Yongue, MPH, MCHES is an Assistant Professor and the Director of Undergraduate Studies in the Department of Public Health Education at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro. In 2007, she began working for the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill where she coordinated and managed research studies through the Center for Health Promotion and Disease Prevention:(1) Cancer Care and Racial Equity Study, (2) Accountability for Cancer Care through Undoing Racism and Equity (ClinicalTrials.gov : NCT01954641). These research projects were funded by the National Institutes of Health and developed through the Greensboro Health Disparities Collaborative. She is an advocate with the Citizens for Economic and Environmental Justice, a member of the Board of Directors for the Renaissance Community Cooperative Grocery Store, an advocate with the Guilford Anti-Racism Alliance, and she is a founding associate member of Sisters Network Greensboro.
