Ashly Maag
Manager, Community Investment Program
Mission Health
Ashly Maag currently serves as Manager of Mission Health’s Community Investment program, responsible for many ways Mission Hospital and the Mission member hospitals invest in their communities and partner with community organizations to address the priority health needs identified by the Community Health Assessments. Before beginning her work in Community Investment, Ashly served as a Senior Major Gifts Officer for the Mission Health Department of Philanthropy. Prior to her work at Mission Health, Ashly spent nine years in the Advancement Department at Carolina Day School—first as Director of Annual Giving and Alumni Relations and finally as Director of Advancement. She has also held leadership positions in other Asheville area nonprofits including Kids Voting of Buncombe County, The Health Adventure, and the Asheville Downtown Association.
Ashly earned her undergraduate degree from the University of the South as a Religion major and her Master of Public Administration from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
Improving her community is an internal motivator for Ashly. She has served as a vestry member at Trinity Episcopal Church, a board member of Lake Logan Episcopal Center, and as president of the Junior League of Asheville. She currently serves on the Steering Committee and as Treasurer of WNC Nonprofit Pathways. Ashly is a graduate of Leadership Asheville 20 and brings her many years of nonprofit management and community leadership to her role as manager of Community Investment for Mission Health.
