Meet Mark Friedman

Mark Friedman is the creator of Results-Based Accountability™ (RBA) and the author of Trying Hard Is Not Good Enough, along with the companion reader Turning Curves. He is the founder and director of the Fiscal Policy Studies Institute.

For over 40 years, Mark has worked with governments, agencies, foundations, and community partnerships across the United States and around the world — helping them move from talk to action and produce measurable improvements in the lives of children, families, and communities. His plain-language, common-sense approach has become one of the most widely used results frameworks in the public and nonprofit sectors.
