Formerly a preschool educator, David Feinstein has a BA in Creative Writing from Oberlin College and an MFA in Poetry from UMass Amherst. As Literacy Educator at The Eric Carle Museum of Picture Book Art in Amherst, he designs interactive literacy programming for visitors of all ages, as well as professional development and early literacy outreach programs with schools, childcare centers, and community organizations across Western New England. He enjoys collaborating with artists, educators, and families to explore the ways in which picture books invite us to discover, create, and share our own stories.
