In November 2021, Clear Impact held a Racial Equity Turn the Curve Poster Contest with key sponsors PolicyLink, Living Cities, and San Francisco Foundation.  Participants were asked to submit a “Racial Equity Turn the Curve Plan” to be eligible for the prize. According to Clear Impact, a Turn the Curve Plan is a “1-2 page plan that presents a data measure, a story that explains the data, a list of partners, the best thinking on strategy, and an action plan for improvement.”

The prize for the winner was $25,000 to a racial equity initiative of their choice. After reviewing submissions, attendees voted for Vibrant Hawai’i as the winner for their submission “Historical Trauma & Cultural Healing: Connecting Community to Culture to Heal, Survive, and Thrive.” You can view all the submissions, along with their embedded Scorecard below.
