“The wonderful thing about Clear Impact and the Results-Based Accountability Framework is it really helps us focus on the most important aspects of our work, and it keeps us accountable…We’ve been able to translate that to tremendous success in terms of programmatic outcomes, in terms of client outcomes, and in terms of financial and funding outcomes as well.”

Summary
In this new episode of Conversations with Clear Impact, we speak with Tiffany Brewster, Policy Development and Advocacy Director at New Hampshire Hunger Solutions. She shares her professional journey from a background in nutrition and public health to her current leadership role focused on food access policy in New Hampshire. She discusses how New Hampshire Hunger Solutions is addressing food insecurity through policy advocacy, community coalitions, and school nutrition programs, by implementing the Results-Based Accountability (RBA) framework. Tiffany also explains how Clear Impact Scorecard is helping the organization moving beyond mere task tracking. They’re transitioning toward a model where they can narratively link data and impact. The emphasis is on telling the “why” behind the numbers—highlighting whether individuals are better off as a result of their work. This enhances clarity for stakeholders, including funders and coalition partners.
“We’re really excited to implement the software (Clear Impact Scorecard), because you’ll be able to see all type of performance measures… but especially ‘Is anybody better off?’—and being able to track that and see the direct results of the work that we are doing. It leu us track real impact in real time”
Tiffany Brewster is the Policy Development and Advocacy Director at NH Hunger Solutions working to connect organizations and advocates across the state working to eliminate hunger. As part of these duties, she coordinates and co-facilitates the NH Food Access Coalition; a group of interested partners across NH connecting to educate about hunger and its roots causes as well as advocate for and empower those with lived experience to achieve equitable access to nutritious food.
This work is close to Tiffany’s heart as a NH native and Registered Dietitian (RD). Throughout her studies to become an RD, it became clear to Tiffany that coaching people on a healthy diet and lifestyle could only be effective if they have access to nutritious food and the capacity to prioritize their health and that health policy can either hinder or help that. Tiffany is a published author both in peer-reviewed literature on topics of childhood obesity and clinical nutrition research as well as local magazines on nutrition topics such as plant-based and intuitive eating.
She completed her BS in Nutrition Dietetics with a minor in Business Administration from the University of New Hampshire. She went on to complete her MS in Nutritional Sciences from Oklahoma State University and her Master of Public Health from George Washington University. Tiffany is also a military veteran, serving first in the NH Air National Guard as an IT Specialist, then in the Oklahoma Air National Guard where she served a tour in Qatar.
Tiffany enjoys cooking and anything outdoors, but especially hiking with her fiancé and very old dog.
“The Results Based Accountability (RBA) framework is so relatable and understandable… you end up in the place that you need to be, as far as helping both coalitions, partners, and our team understand what is needed to make real change in New Hampshire when it comes to food insecurity.”
