Overview: The New Mexico Department of Health recognizes that government public health is one part of an intersectional health system that has collective influence and accountability for improving population health. Within this system, NMDH serves as the chief health strategist to guide collaborative initiatives and collective action. The department is leading the journey towards improved health in New Mexico by facilitating community partnerships and ensuring alignment among CHAs, CHIPs, performance management, and Department Strategic Plans. In this webinar, Terry will focus on the creation of New Mexico’s performance management system, the framework and tools used to support it, and lessons learned along the way.
