Clear Impact is excited to welcome our new Senior Consultant, Dan Duncan. In his new role, Dan will be bringing a wealth of Results Based Accountability (RBA), Asset-Based Community Development (ABCD), and Collective Impact experience to Clear Impact clients across the country.
Dan has extensive professional management experience in the nonprofit, educational, and for-profit professional service sectors. Most notably, he has served as a Vice President for 2 United Ways, a President of one United Way, and as a CEO of two non-profits. Dan is also the Founding Executive Director of the Community Food Bank Inc.— an organization that provides food and food-related services to more than 225,000 people throughout Southern Arizona every year.
Dan has used this experience to provide training and consultation nationally and internationally to help communities, nonprofits, and governmental organizations enhance their community impact through the use of the principles of ABCD and RBA. In addition to organizational and executive leadership, Dan also has an extensive background in fundraising and community results. During his time with United Way of Tucson, he generated more than $35 million in federal, state, and foundation grants to support community impact work. At this time, he was also recognized by Former Arizona Governor Napolitano as a statewide leader in early childhood education.
Most recently, Dan has served as the Owner/ Lead Consultant of H. Daniels Duncan Consulting, where he provided national and international consulting, training, and public speaking on ABCD, RBA, Collective Impact, strategic planning, nonprofit management, board governance, fundraising, and outcomes measurement. He has authored several publications on these topics, including the recent white paper: United Way Collective Impact: the Power of ABCD and RBA.
When asked to explain his decision to join Clear Impact, Dan answered, “As a long-time partner of Clear Impact and supporter of their work, I am truly honored to formally join this amazing team working to help organizations and communities make a greater difference through the power of Results-Based Accountability.”
