We are pleased to announce that Clear Impact is working on more ways to help our customers advance Racial Equity in their respective communities.
Towards that end, we are excited to announce that Clear Impact Senior Consultant, Marcos Marquez, will serve as our new Equity Lead. In this role, Marcos will help Clear Impact improve racial equity for our customers in the following ways:
- Help our work teams ground their everyday activities with a lens of Racial Equity – how does each person add value to our company’s contributions to Racial Equity?
- Help strengthen how Compyle and Scorecard are used to advance Racial Equity
- Strengthen Clear Impact’s capacities as a partner amongst other changemakers addressing Racial Equity on a national scale
Marcos will continue to serve as a Senior Consultant in addition to his new role.
Marcos joined Clear Impact in 2016 and in that time he has trained and guided more than a hundred different communities across the US to advance social justice and strengthen collective impact by using data for strategic decision-making and implementation.
In 2021, Marcos led a health equity collaborative in Washington state to build a County Health Improvement Plan grounded in Results-Based Accountability (RBA) and the principles of racial equity. In 2022 he is:

- Guiding stakeholders in the City of Cleveland to use RBA to address racism as a public health crisis across five priority areas, including but not limited to: Criminal Justice, Education, Health, and Housing
- Helping the Cherokee Nation Tribal Health Department serving the 14 Cherokee counties in Oklahoma to create a one stop system for data collection, reporting and performance management by implementing Compyle and Scorecard
- Leading stakeholders from the State of Arkansas to collaborate in the development of a State Health Improvement Plan using RBA and Scorecard impacting five priority areas, including: Access to Care, Addiction/Mental Health/Suicide, Infectious Disease/Vaccinations, Maternal and Infant Health, and Obesity
- Engaging health leaders across North Carolina and South Carolina to apply RBA principles for the advancement of equitable health outcomes
- Re-engaging Whatcom County partners on the implementation of their Community Health Improvement Plan
- Supporting the National Alliance on Mental Illness to deliver equitable supports for mental health to communities of color in eight pilot states
In his free time, Marcos enjoys running in the mountains. He is ready to help your organization Reach Your Peak too!
