More Information:
In today’s economic climate, grant-makers and funders are requiring greater return on their investments and data to show that their money is making a difference. To provide this, non-profit and government organizations must make smart, efficient decisions on the allocation of their precious dollars. A critical element in creating measurable community impact is the systemic change that needs to occur locally, regionally and in communities across America that can only be fostered through multi-sector collaboration and the use of data. Agencies must also have access to powerful, easy-to-use tools that support program performance improvement.
Presentations at this event will include an overview of the Results-Based Accountability™ (RBA) methodology provided by Adam Luecking, author of The Holy Grail of Public Leadership. RBA is a disciplined way of thinking and taking action that communities can use to improve the lives of children, families, adults and the community as a whole. RBA is also used by organizations to improve the performance of their programs and align them with the desired community Results. Developed by Clear Impact partner & founder of the Fiscal Policy Studies Institute, Mark Friedman, RBA is being used throughout the World to create measurable improvement in people’s lives, communities and organizations.
Notable proponents of the framework include the Promise Neighborhoods Institute, Campaign for Grade Level Reading, the US Department of Education, numerous state and local health departments throughout the US and Canada, and many other government and nonprofit organizations around the world.
This event will also feature a demonstration of the Clear Impact Scorecard, a web-based software tool designed to support the concepts of Results-Based Accountability™. The tool allows for the strategic alignment of resources and connects stakeholders in a single interactive network. Other key features include:
- Provides a broad perspective on measurable progress toward desired ends and, at the same time, the ability to “zoom” down to precise performance details,
- Captures the key data necessary for strategic decision making at each level of detail without drowning decision makers in data,
- Facilitates the collaborative and transparent use of timely data and rigorous analysis to develop aligned strategies and actions,
- Aligns individual programs within comprehensive strategies to achieve desired qualities of life in neighborhoods, cities, states, and nations, and
- Integrates with case management databases and other data collection software.
