The Australian Research Alliance for Children and Youth (ARACY)— a national nonprofit organization that focuses on developing and promoting evidence-based strategies to improve the wellbeing of Australia’s children and youth—is collaborating with Clear Impact to promote the use of Clear Impact Scorecard™ performance and accountability software to ARACY’s network of more than 3000 stakeholders from government, nonprofits, policy, service delivery, and research.
Clear Impact Scorecard is a unique decision-making support software (based on the Results-Based Accountability™ framework) that governments and nonprofits are using around the world to create measurable improvements for children, families, adults, and communities. It supports strategic decision-making by providing rapid access to critical data, creating informational scorecards that can be embedded live on any website, and enabling users to manage projects with interactive strategy maps and Gantt charts.
As part of their collaboration, Clear Impact and ARACY have developed a custom scorecard template within the software (referred to as ‘Nest RBA Software’) based on ARACY’s NEST™ framework– a national outcomes framework for measuring the wellbeing of children and youth. All current users and new users of Clear Impact Scorecard will have access to the Nest RBA Software scorecard after they sign up (new users can sign up to try the software free for 30 days here).
The following video describes the NEST framework and how the Clear Impact Scorecard software will support it in more detail:
The Nest™is an outcomes framework that identifies a set of national results and indicators for measuring the wellbeing of Australia’s children and youth. According to the Nest Action Agenda—the first ever national plan for child and youth wellbeing in Australia (free download here)— “The Nest aims to align efforts to improve the wellbeing of children and youth aged 0-24 years. It is about collectively identifying the outcomes that we want to achieve for children and youth, the most effective prevention-focused and evidence-based ways to achieve these, and how we can best align our collective efforts to achieve them.” The Nest RBA Software reports on these national results and indicators so that organizations with access can gauge the impact of their programs and services against the status of wellbeing for children and youth in Australia.
Dr. Dianne Jackson, CEO of ARACY, had the following to share when asked about the decision to collaborate with Clear Impact Scorecard, “We have found Results Based Accountability and the Clear Impact Scorecard to be powerful, easy-to-use tools for measuring and improving the success of programs and collaborative strategies. When aligned with the Nest™ outcomes framework, these tools have the potential to help create a more coordinated and disciplined approach to improving the lives of Australia’s children and youth.”
