You are invited to attend Outcomes and Impact: A Global OBA Summit to be held October 10th – 11th, 2016 in Belfast, Northern Ireland.
At Outcomes and Impact, you will join nonprofit and government leaders, Outcomes-Based Accountability (OBA) practitioners, and community change experts from around the world to learn the cutting-edge concepts and tools that are being used to help create measurable improvement for children, adults, families, communities, cities, states, and nations.
The Outcomes summit is supported by the Northern Ireland Executive and will demonstrate how OBA has been applied across Northern Ireland whilst showcasing the work and experience of international practicioners.
Celine McStravick, Director of Northern Ireland’s National Children’s Bureau, says “Excitement is quickly growing about the Outcomes Summit in Belfast this October! After decades of conflict, Northern Ireland is now emerging as a place to thrive and celebrate diversity. New elections to the assembly took place in May this year, and we now have 108 members of the legislative assembly with nearly a third of those politicians new to the role. This is a time for change and we are looking forward as our citizens demand better social and economic conditions. We have been delivering Outcomes-Based Accountability across Northern Ireland for several years now and we are delighted that our new Programme for Government has also adopted this approach aiming to improve well-being for all by tackling disadvantage and driving economic growth.”
Who should attend the Outcomes and Impact Summit? Community-based practitioners, public officials, government workers, civic leaders, nonprofit executives, engaged community residents, private sector professionals, and all other interested community stakeholders are invited to learn from one another in this highly interactive and engaging learning experience.
Featured presenters include:
- Mark Friedman, Director of the Fiscal Policy Studies Institute and creator of Outcomes-Based Accountability
- Dr. Michael McAfee, Vice President of Programs at Policy Link
- Nigel Richardson, Director of Children’s Services, Leeds
